How to get around in Göteborg?

Göteborg is one of the best cities in terms of public transport connection in Sweden, probably Europe. The public transportation in the city is solely taken care by a company called Västtrafik. It looks after the trains, trams, buses and ferries in the Västra Götaland region of Sweden.  The good thing about the transportation system in the city is that a commuter can use the same ticket or transportation card in side the city no matter what mode of transportation he/she choose to travel in. Modes of payment 1. Monthly cards : If you will be living in the city for a pretty long time say a month, Monthly card will probably the most economic for you. If you want to stay longer you can even buy a trimonthly or yearly card. 2. Coupon cards : If you will be living in the city for very short period of time say a week ...

She used to say she would tuck me under her pillow every night, I wonder if she still does that, I wonder if it matters any more... She used to say for every dark cloud there is a silver lining I doubt if she really meant it, I wonder if it was mere a sympathy She is gone now... deep in the darkness Darkness of wilderness, darkness of loneliness, Leaving me amid many strangers, all by myself, But I hadn't given up, for I knew someone would come some day... I believe he has listened to my heart, to my wishes... had made me see the mighty silver lining and sunshine sent you for me... for all long days where I had only walls to talk to And, lonely nights where I had only cold air to breathe I knew someone would come Thanks for being that someone, and that chosen one.

Why sun shines at midnight

I used to gaze at the stars when I missed u I wonder if you had been looking at them too for, they are the ones who made me feel better But now the sun has started to shine at the midnight Life has been so different out here Now I have discovered, its difficult as well I don't have you neither do I have the stars the sun is continuing to shine harsh I have been waiting for him to sleep but it seems like he is never tired Perhaps he wants to put me to a test to know if i really loved you or not He will know that I really love you because, I feel u all the time, no matter what not just in the twinkles of the stars but also in the heat of the midnight sun.

New Year under the Scandinavian Sky

I used to wonder why Nepalese are always busy celebrating all the festivals from around the globe. I used to think why they were so party prowlers. I always had been skeptical on the idea of celebrating festivals and customs that are foreign to my culture. But this year, I am under the Scandinavian Sky. The most colorful night in Scandinavia perhaps in the west. This year I have celebrated festivals starting from St. Louis to Christmas to New year. New year under the Scandinavian Sky is the most spectacular one. I wished I had a camera. I miss Ujwal's DSLR from back home. The sky is filled with fire works. The environment is great and there is joy everywhere.

Love at first sight

i still remember the day i saw u for the first time i still remember how nervous u were u stood on the stage, i was a audience but mind it, i was also equally nervous too... yes, it was love at first sight !! i wont say i never fell in luv before.. but this time it happened after ages... i know we shall never be together neither will u know my feelings surely, i want nothing in return and yes, it was love at first sight !!!

How to read and write Serial Port using RxTx?

Interactive Graffiti

Interactive Graffiti is a way to do a legal graffiti in a digital media. It was my Ubiquitous Computing Course project at IT University Göteborg. We designed a high fidelity prototype in which a tram / bus commuter can draw graffiti on a tram / bus stop - shelter glass pane using a digital spray can. http://web.student.chalmers.se/groups/uc07-4/ How does it work ? Custom Java Swing Components

In 2006, I was working in a text free, speech enabled software interface in Java. JFC, Swing does not support Sound and we needed custom Swing components.
